OUR ACTION
The five-year programme in partnership with FOS aims to improve working conditions, access to social protection and better living conditions for workers, producers, youth and women in Bolivia. Decent work implies a written contract, affiliation to a social security system and a decent wage, integrating gender equity and respect for the environment.
Our Bolivian partners are building the capacity of communities and workers and building alliances between decent work organizations and other international actors. Local organizations are strengthened to become real agents of change and mobilize together to achieve decent work standards, the implementation of existing regulations and, finally, the promotion of social and solidarity-based economy initiatives that create self-sufficient employment, wages and decent living conditions for workers in rural areas.
